EXPECTATIONS OF ENGL 1101

I am not what you would call a great writer, but I would like to reach that point. When it comes to English classes I fret over them because I hate writing papers. On the other hand, I like to write but I sometimes write the way I talk. I hope to learn a lot from this class not just to write papers, but enjoy writing at the same time. I would really like to better my grammar skills cause at times they can be horrible and putting punctuation in its proper place. I don't desire to be a English major but i would like to be able to write as one. When I leave this class I would like to be confident in what I write and become a greater writer than I am now. I would like to reach the point to when others need help with their writing I am able to give them advice. But I have an open mind about things so I believe that she is capable of helping the class achieve the goals that we are seeking.
